Images and metadata are processed locally on this device. Both models are loaded from the server and run in the browser. No images, metadata, or results are ever sent to the server. Only the coarse, anonymous usage metrics described in the FAQ leave the browser.

FAQ

What does NudesCreeper do?

NudesCreeper scans photos you select for nudity and other NSFW content, then lets you filter and save the matches.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Your photos are never sent to the NudesCreeper server. Chrome may display a warning such as “Upload 35 files to this site?” when you select a folder. This is Chrome’s generic wording for granting the webpage access to the selected local files. NudesCreeper reads and processes them entirely inside your browser. Only the AI models are downloaded from the server.

What anonymous usage data is collected?

NudesCreeper records privacy-preserving page analytics and coarse scan events: start, completion or stop; selected model; browser runtime; and broad image-count, duration, and error-count buckets. It does not collect photos, filenames, paths, EXIF or GPS data, detection scores or results, exact file counts, cookies, fingerprints, or persistent user IDs. The metrics Worker does not read IP addresses or user-agent strings, and app events are disabled when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.

Does NudesCreeper modify or delete my files?

No. The scanner only reads the photos you select. Saving matches creates a separate ZIP file and does not change the originals.

Which image formats are supported?

AVIF, BMP, GIF, HEIC, HEIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and WebP are supported. Images are skipped only when both dimensions are smaller than 400 pixels.

How accurate are the results?

AI confidence scores are estimates, not guarantees. False positives and false negatives are possible, so review matches before acting on them.
